A single Middle Eastern Search Engine would have to serve more than 40 million internet users over many countries. For the amount of internet users in this area, having search engines designed just for this region and its users makes researching on the internet quite a bit easier. The number of people using the internet in this area has grown quickly and continues to grow. In Iran alone, there is an estimated 23 million users. Some other countries that have a high internet usage in the Middle East are: Saudi Arabia, Israel, Syria, and the Lebanon.

The creation and evolution of the internet has brought the world closer together and has created more options for business relations and even social networking.

A Middle Eastern Search Engine, designed by a person or group of people who are familiar with the area is more beneficial to the internet users in that area than it would be if it were designed by someone who has no knowledge of that region. With the number of internet users in the Middle East, it just makes sense to have a search engine, or several, specific to that area. It would better serve the population by providing more accurate and specific searches.

It is of little use for someone to search the internet and not be able to find what they are looking for or get results in a language they do not understand. Business searches should be more accurate, it is more useful for students of that area, and even the casual web surfer should be able to navigate their searches easier.

The largest internet usage in this region is in Iran which has more than 8 million people who live in Tehran, the capital city. Where there is a higher concentration and population of people, obviously there are more people who have the opportunity for internet access.

All in all, the internet has become a very useful tool for a lot of people in their everyday lives. With the internet constantly changing and being manipulated to serve a constantly growing population of users, evolving search engines are a benefit to many. Search engines are being tailored to specific areas with the idea in mind to make searching easier for the people of those areas. Overall, a Middle Eastern search engine, that realistically serves millions of people in the Middle East can give those users better results than one designed around another area in the world.
