ACN Scam | Is ACNeuro or ACNInc Just Another ACN Scam?

By: Scott Blasczyk Click author's name for more of his/her articles

ACN Telecommunications is a direct sales company who offers various telecom services to consumers and network marketers. In this group are their most heavily promoted products, video phones & video calling. The services ACN offers also include: digital telephone service, fixed telephony, high speed & mobile internet, home security services with ADT, wireless services, & satellite TV with DirecTV and DISH.

ACNInc, another name they are known by, is a direct sales company offering a network marketing opportunity for home-based business and selling products and services in a current trillion dollar industry (telecommunications). They are the worlds biggest direct sales company operating in the telecom industry. The company has been around since 1993.

ACN has been featured on Donald Trump's show "The Celebrity Apprentice". The Donald personally endorses ACN. You may not know it, but Donald Trump has endorsed the MLM industry in general.

This MLM, in particular, he has illuminated and featured as one of the best opportunities in MLM today. He has met the founders and pointed out that he was impressed with their integrity and dedication to the success of their distributors.

The company is based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, and sells in 20 countries covering North America, Europe and the Asia Pacific (Australia & New Zealand). Common names searched in Google and used for ACN are: ACN, ACNInc, ACN Telecommunications, ACN Telecom & ACNeuro.

You may have been concerned if ACN is a scam or you may be hearing about the "ACN pyramid" based on a couple of legal actions. So often, legitimate MLM companies are mistaken for pyramid schemes by unfamiliar people. ACN has been talked about as if a scam or as the "ACN pyramid scheme" on certain websites or publications, such as MLMWatchdog.com. This traces it's origin, in most cases, to a couple of court cases/complaints from back in 2004 and 2005.

The decision made in Australian Federal Court was overturned shortly after the first decision giving merit to the charges. The case from the Canadian Competition Bureau did not even get beyond the preliminary hearing. In my opinion, are these decisions right? Well, I'm not a lawyer, but with my limited information on the cases & my industry expertise, I believe they probably are the correct decisions.

The main problem is that people with a vested interest in being negative will utilize legal decision(s) that have been found to be baseless accusations. They will use these court decisions or complaints that have been long since resolved, as sources of the their negative comments about a company or MLM opportunity. Often they forget about the source of the info, or they fail to update you on the latest news on that mentioned court case or complaint.

The point is that many of the most trumpeted scams in MLM sometimes stem from a couple of isolated occurences that just won't go away, even when those issues have been been reviewed and decided by our courts. These specific cases, which were found not to have substance, do not in and of themselves validate a pyramid scheme. In fact, I don't believe Mr. Donald Trump would recommend ACN if he thought it was not a legitimate company.

There are a lot people in the network marketing industry who are utilizing MLM as a way to hide pyramid schemes. In every field of industry there are many who violate the rules and try to take advantage of all others involved. I don't see why this should be different for network marketing. There is good and bad in all the people, things and companies that you will experience in life.

Don't base your decisions on opinions of negative people. Base decisions on your personal due diligence. Take the effort to figure out on the right network marketing business for you. ACN is not a scam. They are a legitimate direct sales company that has survived this industry and been around for over 15 years. They are committed to incorporating the latest technology within their system, and to the continued success of their RVPs.

I am not involved with ACN telecommunications in any way, or marketing any of their products. I am not paid to endorse ACN, nor am I paid to say anyhting negative about ACN. ACN scam? No way. The company is a great opportunity for the right candidate. You must decide if the ACN MLM fits your needs at the moment. I hope this helps.
