Are you fed up with the price of a glass of wine when you go out for dinner? Do you feel like you're being robbed when the check comes and that average bottle of wine cost you over $50.00? If you said yes then you should go to a bring your own bottle restaurant in your town soon.

There is a growing trend in the Country toward bring your own bottle restaurants. These restaurants will provide you with the accessories so all you need to bring is the wine. In most cases, the server will even open the wine bottle for you. This concept can benefit both the consumer and the restaurant owner.

You will benefit from visiting a BYOB restaurant in a few different ways. First, you can enjoy a bottle of wine with your dinner and not have to to take out another mortgage on your house. Second, the two of you won't feel like you have to agree on what kind of wine you want. Bringing two bottles to the bring your own bottle restaurant still won't leave you broke. Finally you can bring any wine that you have in your wine rack. You'll never be stuck with what's on the menu again.

Allowing patrons to bring their own bottles can also be very good for the restaurant owner. First, rules in many cities and towns make it very hard for a restaurant owner to get a liquor license. If they are for sale, they cost so much that many restaurant owners simply can't afford them. This alone makes the thought of a bring your own bottle restaurant interesting to many prospective owners.

In addition, since there aren't many BYOB restaurants yet, owners can increase their market shares by tapping into the increasing number of people who would like to bring their own. Finally, allowing customers to bring their own spirits and wine has positive cash flow and operating expense implications on the restaurant. Wine and liquor inventories can be major drains on cashflow and employing a group of bartenders is always very expensive.

Once you decide to go to a BYOB restaurant, you're going to want a nice wine carrier. Wine carriers come in lots of materials, sizes, styles and price ranges. Wine totes are available for one to four bottles that are made of aluminum, canvas, wicker, leather and wood. You will definitely find a wine tote to fit your budget and style.

You may bring your choice of beer, wine or other spirits to most BYOB restaurants. Some establishments do put limits on the volume of alcoholic beverages each person can bring so it would be a good idea to call ahead before you go. Enjoy something different and go to a bring your own bottle restaurant near you soon.
