Can Paranoia End A Good Relationship Or Is It Always Best To Keep Your Eyes Open?

It is the age old question of trust! In a new relationship when do you start to just trust what your new partner says rather than questioning? No relationship can have longevity without the fundamentals of trust, communication, united goals and compromise within acceptable boundaries.

Trust is so precious that any relationship can be ruined after years of love even the most solid couple can crumble if one loses the trust in the other. If you are a new relationship then the trust is still building in one another so you will not have built up that uncompromising faith in one another yet that all successful relationships have. This is why so many new relationships fail in the early stages, all it takes is a small wobble and that trust goes and the relationship ends.

Situations to be wary of are ones where you have fallen in love very fast and your partner has maybe already been caught out on a lie or two, maybe about a job, their age or something about their ex-partner. If you have caught them out then keep your eyes open there will usually be more to come and one of them might just be a compromise too far for you.

Another situation to be concerned about is a person who tells you absolutely everything and really you should have already walked away but because they have told you about their two kids from a previous relationship, their drug habit and shoplifting, you now think there's nothing else to tell you and appreciate their honesty, well think again, they're probably just telling you the best of the worst and hiding being sent down for killing someone.

If you are hearing all the right words and feeling the right way but they never talk about their family or friends and it's been a few months and you still haven't met anyone then be cautious, most people will want to eventually introduce you to their circle of friends and family and if you haven't been then start questioning why? Even in the most complicated situation if you are important to that person and they feel you will be a part of their lives you should be being introduced to their nearest and dearest.

If you have been together a few months and never caught them out on a lie or embellishment, met their family and are hearing just how important you are to them they you really should start to trust them. There are many things that will test your relationship in the first year but your paranoia can destroy it. If your partner is always where they say they'll be and with the people they say they're with and telling you they love you the take that deep breath, and start to trust them. If you don't you can come across paranoid and almost possessive and your partner will start to feel suffocated and rightly so.

Taking a chance on someone not to hurt you can be too much for some people and might mean you are simply not ready for a relationship at this time. If you do think you may have trust issues then talk though it with your new partner explain your actions before it's too late.
