With proper planning and arrangement of modern furniture, you can enjoy all the luxury and comfort you are in search of even in a small space. Before you start refurnishing your house, have a clear understanding of your taste and the style of interior decoration you love and your needs. Then select modern furniture as per your needs and comfort. Now, comes the big part- the arrangement of the furniture. The following are some suggestions on how to decorate each and every room of your house with modern furniture.
Living room
Major inclusions of a living room include sofa sets, love seats, coffee table, entertainment sets, lounge chairs and lighting accessories. Select polished, simple, elegant and sleek modern furniture for your living room. Select furniture that serves multiple purposes to reduce the furniture in the room. For example, the sofa set you select should also be comfortable to lie down. Coming to the aspect of comfort make sure that the modern furniture such as sofa sets and love seats are positioned comfortably to watch television. Arrange a coffee table at a position that is easily reachable from the sofa sets and loveseats. Make sure that the seating area is provided with bright lighting. Overall arrangement of the modern furniture should keep the room spacious at same time avoid packing all the furniture to one corner of the room.
Bedroom
Modern furniture that is part of bedroom includes the modern bed such as platform bed, side table, wardrobes and mirror. Bed should be positioned at a comfortable distance from air conditioner and there should be space for including a side table. Include a mirror at a position where you can comfortably stand or sit and admire your beauty. The overall arrangement should provide enough space to walk as well as to open the wardrobe doors easily.
Dining room
Modern furniture for dining room includes the table, stools, chairs and lighting accessories such as chandeliers. Place the chandelier to one side of the room. Place the table so that it is centred with the chandelier. Make sure that enough space is left after the chairs are arranged. This demands that you select a dining table that best fits your room size. Most of the modern dining room sets are made of glass and steel, so take needed care if there are kids in your house. To give a pleasant feel, include a plant stand at the corner near to the table.
Kid’s room
Try to reduce the extent of modern furniture you include in the kid’s room to ensure their safety. If you love to include any motifs, make sure that they are not fragile. If they are fragile keep them out of the reach of children. Arrange a side table at the side of the bed. Include a study table and a light source near to it. Study table should not face the bed, as the kid may feel sleepy with the sight of the bed. Include shelves to place their toys.
All the above ideas to arrange your modern furniture are very simple. You can easily follow them and avoid the need for an interior designer.
