Born on Valentine's Day 1988, 10 weeks premature and upon accident in the United States, Spanish-American Elleai D'Amore (who also has Brasilian, Russian and Israeli ethnic ties) was discovered on Maroubra beach when she was 16 years old by a prestige modeling agent, one week after her family moved to Australia.

She gained fame and exposure after appearing in a series of print and commercial advertisements for swimwear brands Roxy, Billabong, OneTeaspoon and Tigerlily. Shortly after the advertisements premiered in Australia, America and the UK, Elleai was booked by designer Collette Dinnigan to appear as a runway model in her Fall 2005 collection. This show aired on cable televisions FTV channel (Fashion TV.) Shortly after the Collette Dinnigan collection aired, threads began to emerge on Vogue.com.au (Vogue Australia Online) about her.

Topics in the posts included discussions about her clothing, her hair, and her features. There was much deliberation about the realism of her breasts (it was later confirmed by her agent that she did not in fact have implants.) Progressively, threads also included previous and present commercial print work, in particular a discussion about a photoshoot with two Victoria Secret models (Miranda Kerr for Tigerlily and Jarah Mariano for Roxy.) Elleai became a regular in teen girl magazines DOLLY and Girlfriend and was suspected to have a strong friendship with blonde Model Travis Flimmel.

Elleai turned down the offer to have her campaigns and screenshots available for download to mobile phone handsets. It is stated that Elleai was nominated as a contestant for Pantene's Young Woman of the Year in 2004 but turned down the placement offer because of the company's animal testing. Elleai also appeared in hair shows for stylists Joh Bailey and Giovanni Sutherland and was often booked for her long dark distinct hair. Elleai was soon typecast as a third "Olsen Twin" because of her trendsetting fashion and bohemian inspired look. She is also around the same height. When asked about her eyebrows Elleai told VogueAustralia that she has "never plucked them because it hurts." She also states that her clothing inspiration comes from icons such as Johnny Depp. "I love girl adaptions of rock style," she confirms.

It was reported on smh.com.au that Elleai was offered a whopping twenty thousand dollars to appear in Maximum Magazine shirtless. Elleai turned down the offer and alternatively stepped out of the industry to focus on her final school exams. Elleai's final report card indicated her above average grades as an honor student. She excelled in English and says she struggled with Math. Elleai was urged to seek acting representation by her highschool drama teacher, Elleai ignorned the suggestion claiming she was "too shy for anything like that."
Elleai spent the next year concentrating on her schooling. Just three days after her eighteenth birthday, Elleai was contacted by MAXIM magazine a second time with an offer of a 3 page photo spread. Elleai states she was hesitant about the offer.

MAXIM contacted her a third time and suggested that a percentage of voting proceeds could be donated to charity on her behalf. Elleai agreed to the offer but later pulled out of the offer. Alternatively she donated ten thousand dollars to charity and begun working with PETA. Elleai is a vegan and works towards connotating the fur industry negatively. She names Jennifer Lopez as an individual she does not respect, namely because of her ignorance towards animal rights and the promotion of fur. Elleai states she does not hate anyone who eats meat, but urges them to make organic meat choices.

In late 2006, Elleai successfully managed to sign up 34001 people with PETA via her popular MySpace page. Despite constant claims she is dating Koby Abberton, Elleai neither denies nor confirms this suspicion. She is also suggested to have dated actors Chris Egan and Jason Dundas at one point in time. These suspicions do not sit well with her confession that she has only been in 3 relationships.

In mid 2005, an allegation that Elleai had drug and alcohol abuse problems was rumored to be the catalyst for stepping away from the limelight after a school suspension report sufaced, reasons for the suspension were details in regards to crystal meth and a drink bottle filled with Vodka found in her locker. Elleai says she has struggled with herself in the past and always found herself to awkward.

She is an advocate for Anti-Bullying through DOLLY and Girlfriend magazines. Elleai is currently nineteen years old and is speculated to be making a return to the entertainment industry via music and a role in an upcoming indie movie by Nile Schwartz. Despite fan's claims, Elleai did not appear in Koby Abberton's "BRA BOYS" movie.
