Just about every room in Baseball's Hall of Fame Museum in Cooperstown, New York, features a memorable presentation of baseball history, excitement and memories. With appeal for all ages and both genders, the Hall of Fame has more than 3 million visitors each year. Many of these visitors return year after year.

When that many people congregate to see displays, every arrangement must be well considered. As many of the featured items are extremely valuable, they must be preserved with integrity and care and most importantly the items inside the display cases must be clearly visible.

The Hall of Fame does it right. Each display case provides its own story. Visitors can feel the excitement, read the descriptions and inspect the balls, bats, spikes, bases, and other baseball memorabilia without actually touching the item.

Down the road a ways, east of Cooperstown is the Horse Racing Hall of Fame, located in Saratoga, the site of the country's oldest flat track. Memories of all the great horses and races are there. Paraphernalia from horses like Secretariat, Affirmed, Man Of War, Seabiscuit or Forego as well as thousands of bits, reins, boots, colors, saddles and racing forms are on display in strikingly designed cases. The displays in Saratoga are reminiscent of the details from times past. Millions of visitors stroll through racing's greatest moments mesmerized by compelling displays.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio, tells the ever-evolving story of a generation. Woodstock, Janis Joplin, Bob Dylan, Guy Mitchell and Chubby Checkers are just a few of the thousands of artists on display at The Rock and roll Hall of Fame. Cleveland lobbied hard to build its new-age museum.

The display cases are beautifully illuminated and make the visitor's visual and audio experience totally realistic. The history of Rock and Roll unfolds before your eyes through a series of outstanding displays.

Since opening in 1988, Butterfly World in Coconut Grove, Florida, features more than 80 species of live butterflies and thousands of preserved butterflies. Each display case must maintain specific preservation standards including regulated moisture and illumination levels.

The displays at Butterfly World are among the most colorful and spectacularly coordinated in the world. Millions of visitors amble the grounds and buildings at Butterfly World every year. It is difficult not to touch the alluring butterflies but many of the displays are still the originals. Butterfly managers could not be happier with their displays or display cases.

The pride of Anapolis, Maryland, is the Sailing Hall of Fame. The 50 most significant contributors to the sailing experience were inducted to the Hall and ever since display cases have been used to portray the magic of the sport.

Visitors to the museum are mystified by the advances in sailing equipment and technology. Many of the first sailing tools and implements are carefully secured in beautifully crafted display cases that model the sailing experience. Sometimes it is hard to tell if visitors are captivated by the displays or their rich looking display cases.

If there was ever a perfect match, it is diamonds and lighted display cases. There is just something seductive about a diamond in a display case and the famous DeBeers Display Center illustrates the combination. The Toronto center is an awesome, glittering display of perfection. Many of the most famous DeBeers diamonds pass throu8ght eh display cases every year.

The Diamond Display Center tells the story of how diamonds are formed in the depths of the earth over billions of years, how they are found and recovered while capturing the all-important magical sparkle of the diamond.

"The Diamond Display Center is a testament to the mystique of diamonds and the history of the diamond industry, but more importantly, it opens a window into the future of diamond mining in Canada," explained Jim Gowans, President and CEO of De Beers Canada at the center's opening in 2006. The highly security afforded by the black velvet lined display cases make for flawless viewing.
