Some schools in the country have even increased their English language curriculum subjects in order to support this burgeoning new industry. Although this is barely necessary since the country already teaches English as a major subject from grade school up to college. There are also other electives that serve to boost the needs of the industry such as American Geography.

Right now, so many people who want to apply to call centers and they all rush to apply no matter what previous course they have finished in college. Thousands, may they be seasoned workers or newly graduated applicants, are trying out the life in a call center because it has become such a highly lucrative employment opportunity for a lot of people considering the wages. The basic pay for most of these call center agents can go from P13, 000 to P16, 000 every month. That converts to 200 to 250 U.S. dollars. There are also other compensation packages that are given to such agents such as food and transportation allowances that go around P 2,500 as well as appraisal rewards to those valuable performing employees that go around P 5,000. Some agents are given other bonus stuff such as cell phones, cell phone pre paid load, and useful appliances. Most of the time, agents are also paid for the commission. There are also medical benefits in the form of medical cards that are a must for call center agents. And factor in to all that the thirty percent night differential and you have got a very very attractive compensation package.

Call center agents get benefits such as health insurance, SSS, Pag-ibig as well as salary loans. This is not a dead end career opportunity as some people tend to think. Employees get a good chance to go up the corporate ladder in just a few months if they are really dedicated.
