As an online marketer, writing an online marketing piece can be a excellent resource of free traffic to your page. But there are certain steps you should follow to create an valuable article that will draw not only traffic to your site but provide impressive value to your readers and make them want to come back for more.

I have prepared this Internet Marketing Article Report to help you become an useful article writer through my step by step Article Writing Tutorial.

Step One - Clarify Your Audience

Decide who your audience is going to be. If you are a collector and you are trying to advertise pieces of your collection, then perhaps a review of that piece would be a worthy idea. However if you are an internet marketer, and you do a review of a 19th century coin or a Barbie Doll, do you think you are going to draw the kind of individual that is going to be interested in your network marketing internet enterprise? No. So, you want to figure out who you are writing for and write an article based on the kind of person you want to appeal to.

Step Two - Give Meaning

As soon as you have determined who your target audience is make sure you present superior value to them in the meat of your article. Write an article that will be advantageous to them. You can do investigation on your chosen subject matter by Googling (or Yahooing, Binging, whatever your search engine of choice is) the subject matter to see what others have said about it. This will help you come up with ideas for what to write about in your article.

Step Three - Choose Your Key Words and Phrases

When writing an valuable article, be sure to investigate and include key words and phrases in your article to help your article's rankings in search engines. Your key words and phrases should be applicable to your topic and your article context. However, you want to keep your article clear and enjoyable, so you don't want to exceed the mention of keywords and phrases.

Step Four - Give Your Article an Appealing Title

The Title is what is going to lure prospective readers in. You could have the greatest content in your article, but if you don't introduce it, via the Title, in the correct way, you are going to be unable to find would-be readers. So, think of something captivating and compelling to lure your audience in. Put some pizzazz on it. Don't be dry and blah, but be on topic, you don't want to misinform your viewers - you will lose value and trust that way. You also want to include your key words and phrases into the headline if possible.

Step Five - KISS: Keep It Simple Stupid

When writing your article, unless you are writing for a technological audience, keep it simple. It has been recommended that you write only in an 8th to 9th grade level. If you keep it uncomplicated, the bulk of your audience will have no problems comprehending it. Also, readers with limited English will be able to comprehend more of your article if you keep it simple. A good length for an article is around 500 to 700 words that are broken up into paragraphs of about three to five sentences each. Most readers have short attention spans, so you want to keep it short and to the point yet still provide a significant value.

I hope this Article Writing Tutorial has helped you become a better, more effective article marketer.
