Getting Plenty Of Prospects To Turn Into Distributors Without Breaking A Sweat

So you've started a home based business and want to get into profit as soon as possible by getting as many sign ups as you can. But how do you find people to talk to without shaking down your family and friends? You need to build a never ending list of names. Harnessing the power of the internet is the key to building this list.

By now you've heard the old saying, "the money is in the list". So, what exactly does that mean? It means the more people you have on your marketing list, the better chance you have of signing people up in your company, and by default, making more money in your MLM business.

It doesn't matter if you are new to MLM or have been trying your hand at it for quite awhile, because I've designed this article to show you how build a huge list in the shortest amount of time. Because the money really is in the list!

Step 1: The Squeeze Page

The squeeze page is the first thing you are going to want to set up. A squeeze page is just an online page that gives people just enough information to get them to give you their name and email address so they can gain access to more information. Squeeze pages are used by most serious internet marketers.

Some of these pages go overboard requiring the prospect to enter in all sorts of information. Most people are not comfortable in giving you their life story and ambitions. If you ask for too much at this stage, you will not get as many opt-ins so keep this simple. They will give you their name and email address and most of the time their phone number if you make that an optional field.

The squeeze page accomplishes two things: 1) People are able to access your website to get more information about your business immediately and 2) They are put into an auto-responder. An auto-responder is just a program that will send out a series of emails for you automatically. This frees up your time so you can be doing other things for your MLM business while the auto-responder markets to your prospect for you.

Don't think you will will be bugging people with your emails. At the bottom of every email that your auto-responder sends out is an opt-out link. This ensures only people who are really interested will stay on your list.

Then, when that interested prospect is ready to talk to you, they will pick up the phone and give you a call. This is great because you know they are really serious about working from home!

You need to start using a squeeze page if you aren't already doing so. It will be the best thing that could happen to your online business. Fact is most online marketers use multiple squeeze pages in order to get the most opt-ins possible.

Step 2: Give Away Something For Free

Want to grow a huge list? Then give away something for free! People love to get stuff for free! Don't you?

Grow your prospecting list exponentially by giving away a free "gift" (a free report or E-book). Just be sure it has something to do with working from home or whatever your topic is. This will give you more targeted prospects.

You can do this two ways: 1) Set up a separate website giving away something for free after they opt-in at your squeeze page or 2) Send it to them in the first email from your auto-responder.

Step 3: Promote Yourself Everywhere

Now that you have your free product and your squeeze pages, the next and most important step is to get the word out about your websites. Remember, no promotion equals no traffic! I recommend using free sites like network marketing forums, Twitter, MySpace, FaceBook, YouTube and article websites to get the work out. You will have lots of free prospects in no time!

If you follow these easy steps, you will have more prospects than you have time to talk to in a day. Just keep in mind that your list won't be huge overnight or without some serious promotion, but if you want the best way to build your list, this is the best method I've found.
