Grand Theft Auto 4 Playstation 3 Cheats

By: Jon Asslexiaha

When Grand Theft Auto first came out, gamers loved it and it has not looked back since, gaining more recognition and winning fans' adoration as one of the best gaming franchises to hit the scene. Plus, Grand Theft Auto has continued to step up a notch with each title released and redefining what video gaming is about. GTA certainly takes the lead in terms of the Sandbox genre, and everyone who has played it knows the reason for this. With this ninth iteration from the well-known series, GTA 4 picks off where GTA 3 ended. However, the series has given gamers with an entirely new experience with each game, and fans can certainly expect the same with GTA IV.

Although unique in their own way, each version of the series has been distinctly gripping and fantastic. However, with GTA 4, it aims to take the storyline to a whole new vantage point. With Niko (an ex-soldier trying to rebuild his life) as the main protagonist of the story, gamers will get the chance to partake in his struggle to survive in the hostile environment of Liberty City. Niko does not have trouble fitting in because of his rugged and rough appearance, and here is where all the fun of exploring Liberty City starts. However, GTA differs in the use of the character in that there is more depth into the motives behind the character's actions, which makes playing this game all the more gripping. In past GTA games, characters can partake in rampages or other violent acts at will, but because Niko has missions to fulfill, your adventures are defined within that mission.

As for the other characters (even random ones) that are in GTA 4, they have improved significance as far as storyline is concerned in this game. They are the catalysts that move the story forward, especially Niko's actions; hence, you could find yourself in situations where you have to make a decision that will alter how the game turns out in the long run. Meanwhile, building relationships is a key in this game and unlike other GTA games, you will have to think them through.

With Liberty City serving as the backdrop for the game, it should be pointed out that the game could have not looked any better. It should be interesting to know that the city provides a very interactive setting allowing you to have access to whichever part of the city; which is definitely a good thing, considering its intricate details.

If you thought you've heard enough, we are just getting started with this GTA IV feature. Learning from lapses or areas where previous GTA games went lacking, Rockstar has incorporated some new elements into this new game. Probably one of the best features in GTA IV is the combat system. There's definitely more excitement into the game with a few very efficient feature that gamers can use to their advantage. There is still the free-aim feature, but the new lock-on feature will surely improve your accuracy. By setting your aim on an opponent, you are sure to hit right where your aim is. And once you've done that, there's nothing more left to do but press that button. This game also sports off a new cover system. To make your character take cover from the nearest suitable object, just press R1. While in this manner, you will be able to effectively take cover from your enemies and it is also best recommended to use this feature when facing multiple enemies. What this new feature does is that you can minimize the any form of damage that can possibly get your character killed. These new features certainly help to upgrade the level of gaming experience that gamers were already expecting of a Grand Theft Auto game.

If that sounds impressive, then GTA IV's all-new in-car combat system will further heighten the thrill that comes with this game. GTA IV has definitely been made more exciting with this new combat system that promises to be just as effective as on-foot combat and yet a whole lot more exciting. Even when driving a vehicle, you can lock-on your nearest opponent. It is still possible to free-aim at your enemies through the car's window. If before, getting to shoot someone while you're driving proved to be quite a task, this time around everything is so much better. All these efforts of improving the game play mechanics is done to live up and even surpass fans' expectation of what GTA IV can deliver.

One important thing that needs to be tackled when talking about GTA IV is the mission structure. Because the previous GTA's have been proven, this game carries on the winning formula. So, as you go through this game, you'd have to traverse the entire city in order to accomplish missions for certain characters, with each of these missions offering a unique experience for gamers. And with that being said, it's safe to assume that this is probably the best and most explosive release off the series yet.

While in Liberty City, Roman's phone will be used by Niko and plays a key role in the game. Then, you can use that as your control panel and organizer for anything that needs to be done in the game. You can use the phone to receive messages about certain missions, and may also serve as your main access to multiplayer features and anything you have to accomplish the progress in the game. Having to use the phone as a way to control the game is definitely innovative, and it creates this illusion that everything is happening within the world of the game, which is independent of the player's command.

Also, an exciting new addition to this new GTA game is the online multiplayer feature. This is another way to increase the level of intensity within the game, now that you can have at most sixteen players playing side by side or competing against one another. But more importantly, GTA IV is raring to knock off such great games like Call of Duty 4 or Rainbow Six Vegas off their reign and soon be named as the king of Multiplayer with a great new game modes addition.
