Hair loss causes a great deal of stress and anxiety. In society, one of the factors other people judge us by is our looks, which includes our hair. Hair loss, therefore, can have an enormous impact on self-perception, self-esteem, and social life. Although there is no cure for excessive hair loss caused by male or female pattern hair loss, there are a variety of hair loss remedies available for people suffering from hair loss.

Are there hair loss remedies that don’t require the use of risky drugs? I see commercials for hair loss drugs all the time, and they are always accompanied by a list of warnings longer than the list of benefits. So what if I want to cure or help my hair loss problem without those dangers? Well, there are some home hair loss remedies that you can try. Just like with the drugs, nothing works 100% of the time, but these may be a way to help you get your hair back without using a lot of harsh drugs.
Like anything else in your body, your hair is affected by your intake of nutrients and a balanced diet.

One of the most effective hair loss treatment options involves safe, natural ways to stop the loss of hair as well as promote new hair growth, without the potential adverse reactions of prescription medications.

There are a number of natural vitamins, minerals, herbal extracts and other powerful nutrients that have been shown to be quite effective in the war against baldness.

Another very simple home hair loss remedy is a simple one. After washing your hair or the thinning area with cold water, you should run your scalp with your fingers deeply. You should do so until you feel a tingling sensation in your scalp from the heat you are generating. The heat and rubbing activates the sebaceous glands which energizes blood flow that can result in the growth of new healthy hair. Again, it may not work all of the time, but it is certainly worth a try before pumping drugs into your body in the name of hair growth.

Rogaine, the FDA approved topical treatment for female and male pattern hair loss, is a popular hair loss remedy. Though not always effective in promoting new hair growth, if used regularly, Rogaine can be effective in slowing or even stopping hair loss.

Another home hair loss remedy that can be effective is fairly simple. First off, make yourself some coconut milk by grinding coconut shavings up and squeezing them hard. The resulting liquid is coconut milk. Take the milk and apply it all over your scalp and massage it deeply into the roots of your hair. It can nourish your hair and promote new growth in addition to healthy growth of existing hair.

One more option is to make your own home compound to act as a home hair loss remedy. Make amla oil by taking dry amla pieces and boiling them in coconuts oil. Mix the amla juice with lime juice and use it as a shampoo to stimulate hair growth and prevent hair loss.
