It commenced to employ its web for promotion of online sales and started to spread out its product range to include consumer electronics items like phones, printers, televisions and digital music players. It took over businesses associated to the PC industry and established a new production plant resulting in a good many tax breaks and assistance from the local government.

In the course of this time Dell turned into one of the main and largely acknowledged firms across the world and was straight away included in the Fortune 500 list. Ten years after it had launched operations, Dell altered its logo to the one presently exhibited by the corporation.
