House construction- During new house construction, the foundation should be sealed carefully. Additionally, install a high quality house perimeter drain system and put separate drainage system for your gutters and downpipes.
To avoid deterioration of your timber floor construction, give good ventilation to the entire sub floor area. The moisture emanating from the ground should be blocked from causing unworthy dampness or deteriorating the building elements further. The law stipulates that, the minimum clearance between the ground surface and the lowest frame of the building should be below 150mm. Also, clearance should comply with any requirement coming from the manufacturer of the materials.

Additionally your sub floor will stay dry if you take into account the following measures.
