How to take professional quality pictures with a digital camera
Have you ever wanted to be a photographer, or have you ever wanted to take up any type of picture taking? Well if you did you will have to know a bit more about cameras, you might think that it is just a tool and that it is as simple as point and shoot, but it really is not. It has more to do with the set up of the shot than the actual shot itself. If you are good enough of a photographer to set up a shot with the perfect lighting and positioning of the models, and the camera then the taking of the shot will be a breeze, and even an amateur photographer can take a good shot.
It all has to do with the set up, and has very little to do with the holding of the camera, because most of the time your camera will be on a tripod. However, you will have to get a pretty decent camera if you are to be a success in your field, and that again comes down to knowing your camera, you will have to also know you lenses and you ISO sensitivity settings. You will have to get a camera with a high megapixel, which will give you a clearer and cleaner image, you also want to get a camera with a good optical zoom, and not one that only offers digital zoom. You should also try to find a camera with no digital zoom at all, because this will break up the picture more and more as your zoom in.
When you become a photographer, or your think that it would be great to be one, there are many things that you will have to learn. This is usually done through a course, however, you do not need to do a course if you do not have the money. Most of the time, clients will not ask you for your certificate, but they will most likely ask for your portfolio, shots that you have taken before.
The trick, though, is to know what you need to learn quickly, and then learn the rest as you go along. If you want to become a good photographer you will need to know a bit about image processing, because you do not see professionals going to a one hour image shop with their films. When you are going out to get your first camera, also make sure to get on with an LCD screen, so that you can see what is in your viewfinder quickly, without even looking into the actual viewfinder for face detection. You should know a bit about the lens, so you will need to look for a digital camera that enables interchangeable lenses. The lens also goes to focus, so you will have to do a lot of research on this topic, but all in all, this can all be done in the comfort of your own home.
