If You want to be Successful You Have to Think Big

Being successful for some is defended in the word “security” Although security is a wonderful thing; it is very low on the self actualization scale. Security is coming from the place of need. At the top of the scale, you will find much bigger thinking, Instead of the need to be secure; you find the calling to achieve the greatest success.

For people who are inspired to realize their greatest success, it is worth pointing out that the tendency for most people is to think small which leaves far less competition at the top than you may realize.

Thinking big will determine the size of your accomplishments. It is not very hard to make a few simple adjustments to your thinking to take it from security to the greatest success.

Big thinking starts with the way you communicate your ideas to others. We think in pictures. If someone were to tell you that they live on top of a mountain, you would visuals the beautiful view from on top of a mountain.

Those that think big specialize in creating positive and optimistic pictures in their mind’s eye and also in the minds of others. They help others to see the big picture. For example, rather than looking at an empty lot, they might verbally paint the picture of a fine establishment sitting on this property that would have tremendous money making potential. The lesson here is to look not only as things are, but what they could potentially be.

With positive language, you can encourage and even inspire others. Instead of using words like “problem and conflict” use words like “opportunity and challenge” When you say problem, you paint the picture of an unpleasant situation. When you say challenge, you paint the picture of a game, or something fun.

Thinking big is to always visualize what can be done in the future. They are never stuck with just what is. This type of visualization adds value to everything.

Potential is important to the big thinker. They look at clients and business associates through the concept of potential. It is not what the client buys today, or it is not how much the business associate produces this month, their vision looks down the road to see the value of the client or associate’s future conversion rate.

Try to see yourself not as where you currently are but where you want to go, and what you want to be. Play it in your head like a movie. Imagine your self realizing all of your goals and dreams. See you’re self as being as successful as possible.

Look to add more value to people and situations. As you move higher into the world of success more and more of your job will become people development. Find ways to add more value to your associates. Think about what you can do to bring out the best in them. Visualize them at their best.

Always work on being a better person. Make it a daily habit. Those who think that they just need to do their job and that’s enough are thinking small. A big thinker sees themselves as a team member willing to contribute. They help the team in every way even if there is no direct and immediate compensation.

Your next level of success depends on how important you think your current job is, all along believing in expansion.

• Set your goals high.
• Regard security as a natural companion of success.
• Ignore things of little consequence, focusing more on bigger ideas.
• You are better than you think you are so don't sell yourself short.
• Before getting involved in petty matters, ask you’re if it is really important.

Thinking big is a way of receiving personal prosperity, influencing others to do their best and can give you a rewarding and enjoyable life. Thinking big will help you achieve your greatest success.
