Is Laser Liposuction the Right Choice for You?

We have all searched for the best way to loose our unwanted fat. From pills to diets we have tried most everything out there. And some people have even gone beyond the diet and pill fads by choosing to have surgery to remove their unwanted fat. However, are such invasive surgeries right for you? If you are looking to loose your fat through surgery then you will want to really look at all the options for liposuction. And the best place to start for some would be with laser liposuction.

Over the years the medical world has worked hard to improve safety and reliability of their cosmetic procedures. And from this has come the new laser methods to getting rid of your unwanted fat. This relatively new procedure also known as laser-assisted liposuction is one that utilizes lasers along with traditional liposuction methods. What they have found is it not only effectively gets rid of your excess fat but that it has a much shorter down-time associated with it and much more.

The way this great laser lipo procedure works is by inserting a laser fiber just under your skin that will heat up your fat cells so that they can be sucked out without disturbing any other inside parts like your traditional liposuction does. And not only does it get rid of the fat but it also helps to tighten your skin. Most every person that has undergone traditional liposuction will know that it will leave you with droopy looking skin that needs to be surgically removed. However, with laser liposuction you will see a 20% increase in skin tightening, and the skin that is left is just excess skin that was stretched out because of the fat deposits. Laser liposuction is really the best alternative for most people.

In fact, with this great new method have come other breakthroughs. For example, now you will see doctors using laser to reconstruct the layers of skin by pulling it inwards. Also, many people have now turned to this laser procedure as a follow-up to their traditional liposuction treatment. This allows for some of that skin to be tightened with less of a need for surgery to remove the excess. However, like with any surgery you must always do your research on it. The reason for this is that laser lipo is not for everyone, and some people may not see the same results because of it.

There are many people out there that are very obese, and some of those people either opt for liposuction to give them a head start in loosing weight, as a finishing touch after they have worked hard to loose most of their weight, or because they are dangerously obese and must have some body fat removed in order to survive other surgeries like tummy stapling. For these people the new laser liposuction would not give the same results as it was designed to target small fatty areas. Contact your doctor for more information to see if you would qualify.
