Dance Dance Revolution, or DDR, is a video game that allows a player to stand on a pad and use their feet to tap arrows labeled left, right, up and down with their feet while watching corresponding arrows on a screen in front of them; this is done in rhythm to a song that is playing at the same time. While it was originally an arcade game it has gained even more popularity as a home game using gaming systems such as the Xbox and the Dance Dance Revolution Xbox pad.
