Just One Day of the South Beach Diet Plan

While on the South Beach Diet you aren't allowed to eat any unhealthy carbs, especially those that come from sugar and white flour. Many people insist on binging on sweets and other carb filled junk food before starting the South Beach diet thinking that they will miss them. This is far form true.

During the South Beach diet you are allowed to consume fatty foods. Two strips of bacon and a two egg omelet is a fabulous example of a breakfast you can eat. You can fry the omelet and bacon in virgin olive oil to make them even more healthy. The secret is to use healthy fats in your cooking. Since you aren't allowed to eat any carbs while on the South Beach Diet you cannot eat any bread for breakfast. You might crave some bread but it is a big no-no. In a couple of days you will stop craving carbs.

The South Beach diet tries to fix your body's incapability to process well sugar and white flour products. This leads to gaining weight. It is a very well known fact that white flour and sugar don't give your body and essential nutrients. They only clog your body.

Because you get to eat early in the morning a good portion of proteins and good healthy fats you won't get hungry too soon. In fact because you can eat healthy fatty food you avoid feeling hungry all the time while you are on the South Beach Diet. If you don't want to eat too much fats early in the morning you can choose to eat some high fiber vegetables like asparagus, broccoli, mushrooms or peppers. Into the mix you can also put some cheese to make the food even more tasty.

Between meals you can eat a light snack to help you reach your next meal without feeling famished. Some cheese with some vegetables is a great example of a good healthy snack. A fabulous choice for a no carbs snack are dairies which you can consume with no worry.

For lunch you can have a salad with some grilled fish or chicken. If you want something more exotic you can also eat grilled shrimps with a salad or a tuna filled tomato. You don't have to worry about portion control while on the South Beach Diet. You can eat what you like until you get filled but not stuffed. That is a good rule to follow.

For an afternoon snack you can have some nuts. Nuts contain good healthy fats and fibers which will help fill you up fast. Pick the nuts you like and eat them as a healthy snack. I for one like pistachio and eat it as a healthy snack as often as possible.

A great meal you can have for supper is made out of lots of vegetables and a smaller amount of low fat meat. You are not allowed to deep fry it. You can eat for supper some grilled salmon or chicken and even beef. As you can see it is pretty tough to be hungry when you eat all this food all day long. The best part is that you actually lose weight while eating good healthy food.
