Managing the Different Personality Types in Team Building

We were all born with different individuality and each personality compliments another or completely rejects it. That's why when team building it is vital to be able to deal with the different personality types for the sake of the team.

And one way in which you and your employees can learn how to conquer each personality kind is through company team building events. These are exercises that are organised by a organisation specialising in corporate exercises of this kind.

They prepare for activity days, conferences, training days, and more exercises that will suit your employees. Despite the different personality types that exist out there, you can expect organisation exercises such as this to have the following attributes

Communicating in a clear and logical manner
Identify how to deliver exceptional quality and service through effective communication
Improve presentation skills

The features go much further than this. Because individuality are a collection of thought patterns, behaviour patterns, and emotion, there is quite a lot to deal with, but through team building events, it is very possible to put everyone on the same page despite what their personality type is like.

As far as the types of personality types you will encounter

8 to 10 percent of individuals are idealists
5 to 7 percent of individuals are rationalists
35 to 40 percent of individuals are artisans
40 to 45 percent of individuals are guardians

Since the guardians are the most common individuals you will need to contend with, it is very vital that team building cracks the shell of these individuals. They are those who pay much attention to detail and they do provide a certain degree of security to the projects that they take on. Guardians are good listeners as well. What you will find is that every aspect of your organisation will benefit greatly by being able to respond to the behaviors of these individuals adequately.
