Have you ever found yourself sitting in front of the TV or the X-box, and you're thinking, "Man, I should be out there meeting women"

But then you start to get that tight feeling in your chest and you wonder where the hell you should go. After all, the only place that you know of is bars and clubs. And you're tired of that scene. Staying out until 2:00 AM. Having to buy overpriced drinks and scream over the music.

No thanks.

But it's the only place you can think of where women go to meet guys. If you're going out meeting women, that's the place to go.

Well, thankfully, if you're really set on meeting women, there are other places to go. I'm going to give you my 3 steps to meeting women (and 3 places for meeting women) you can start using right NOW.

MEETING WOMEN - Step 1: Use multiple methods for meeting women.

I know this one sounds obvious, but it's easy to fall into the trap of only meeting women in bars and clubs. We seem to have it programmed into us that this is the best place to meet women.

Here's the ugly truth: Less than 5% of men will actually meet a long term girlfriend in a bar.

We go there for hookups and some fun. Women do, too.

But when it comes to where people go to find a serious romantic opportunity, it's not typically in a bar or club.

Why? Because if you're in a bar, you've already got "possible player" or "bar guy" tattooed on your forehead. That's not going to help you with meeting women, my friend.

The more ways you have to meet women, the more in control you will feel.

MEETING WOMEN - Step 2: Get an online dating account and start using it.

Online dating is the single most time and cost-effective way for meeting women. And if you use a good online dating strategy, you can easily out-perform 90% of the guys out there who don't know what they're doing.

Just set up a solid profile, start sending out emails on a daily basis, and consistently tweak your profile and introductions. Find one thing in a woman's profile that appeals to you and ask her about it in your introduction. This is one thing that most guys don't do, and they wonder why they never get a response.

Be cool and laid back. Tease her - nicely. And don't immediately suggest you meet up with her, that can seem rushed and impatient.

Just do those small things and you'll already be ahead of 90% of the guys who use online dating and don't have a clue.

MEETING WOMEN - Step 3: Get social.

The number one method for meeting women for more than just a hookup is by using your social circle.

Women feel much safer and open about dating a friend of a friend because that person has "social proof." That simply means that you are endorsed as being safe just by being that person's friend.

(And you'll find that you'll also have much less problem with flaking, too, because the woman is now accountable to her friends if she doesn't treat you right.)

Just get out there and start making more friends - forget about just meeting women - and you'll be more successful overall.

And there's a side effect of focusing on your social network. You'll find that you're making more connections, and you'll lose a lot of your "scarcity mindset" with women. Just having more people to hang out with and not having to be so focused on meeting women will really improve your attitude.

(Studies have shown that people with large circles of friends live longer, are happier, and get better jobs and higher incomes. All from the power of being social.)

So, just to review, here are my favorite places to meet women:

1) Parties and social events thrown by friends.

This is the one place men and women listed as their favorite for meeting someone to date. Why? Because it's assumed that everyone knows someone to get invited, so you're socially proven as "better than a stranger."

2) Online dating

There is no easier way to meet a lot of women in a short period of time. And do it all from the comfort of your living room couch. 'Nuff said.

3) Speed dating and singles events.

I used to organize and attend these events all the time, and for your money, there's no better way to meet women. Not to mention the fact that you can do it in half the time, and practice your skills in a safe environment.

The best part? Every approach is guaranteed to work. You're never rejected.

If you just take those three steps to getting out and meeting women, you'll have doubled or TRIPLED your potential for meeting women.
