The Novatel Ovation-U727, by Sprint, makes connecting to the Internet a cinch! While providing the great quality service expected from Sprint, the Novatel Ovation-U727 takes it up a notch. It is not the typical Express Card, as it connects to the computer through the USB port. It also sports an integrated microSD slot for extra storage.

Essentially, the Novatel Ovation-U727 serves the owner in two capacities, as a wireless high-speed Internet device as well as a portable storage drive. It has a solid design and is compatible with all major operating systems (Windows Vista, XP, 2000, Mac OS and Linux OS).

An added plus is that it has a monitor clip and an extendable USB cable. This allows the user to clip the antenna to the computer's monitor for added signal strength. As mentioned in the specs, it is designed to work on CDMA supporting Sprint's EVDO Rev A network. In places where Sprint's Rev A coverage is not available, it will work on other networks as well.

The average download speed is 600 kbps to 1.4 Mbps and the average upload speed is 300-500 kbps. Peak speeds have been as high as 3.1 Mbps. This ensures speedy downloads and uploads in many places.
