People Finder - Where Are They Now?

It been about 15 years ago since I last saw my old friend. We did everything together in our single days. We traveled across the country on our motorbikes, played on the varsity Football team, graduated from college together, partied together.

Wow! Those were fun times.

But then my old friend of 15 years ago got engaged and was to be married. I attended the wedding. They looked really happy together. Even after the wedding we still had great times, until my friend had a job offer that took the married couple to another part of the country. Sure, we talked on the phone for awhile. We even wrote letters to each other for the first six months but it slowly faded off and the rest is just 15 years later.
I really wanted to reconnect with my old friend and so I did a Google and Yahoo Search entering my friend's name.

This is what the Google's search results returned:

1 - 10 Results of about 17,000,000. Yikes!

Going down the search listing of 10 results with my friend's name highlighted, I went to the individual web pages. There was a lawyer and an accountant and a blog of someone with a picture with the same name that didn't even come close to resembling my friend. After about 30 listings later, I abandoned my search. This was getting to be too time consuming.
Was there a better way to search for my old friend?

I needed to find a more effective alternative. Something I had used in the past.

It was a people finder service often called an internet detective.

Persevering after the frustration of the previous general search, I found a people finder service on the internet and immediately signed up. I conducted my first investigation. And behold, I think I found my old friend of 15 years past. The details of my findings were simply amazing. I discovered, my friend actually moved back to the town I currently live in and where we had such great times together. My friend had two children but had been divorced over the last few years. My search also revealed a phone number and an address that was within 10 miles of my own house.

What incredible results!

But how could I have had such detailed information in a matter of seconds? It is due to the People Finder's dedicated database. Databases that are spread out among many computers across the internet and are combined into a single specific people search service. Then with the details you have available, such as a name, address or phone number, up display the results. This can reveal the history of the individual also.

What if the individual is not what you expected? Do a criminal record check if it is available as part of the service. Many people finder services often include criminal record checks. It could be a determining factor, as a result of the information, not to contact this person.

In summary, a people finder search should have a dedicated people search database, it should not take long to return the results and it should have a criminal record check as part of the service.
