Sacramento, the beautiful capital city once popular for the gold rush has now evolved to be one of the most happening places in America. Though Old Sacramento is known for its gilded past, its modern day image highlights tall, gleaming buildings, a vibrant and dynamic art scene and an exuberant nightlife. Apart from the nightlife, Sacramento is known for its love for art. The Sacramento Convention Center and the Memorial Auditorium are the main theater venues of Sacramento. The Crocker Art Museum is also situated in this beautiful capital city of California and happens to be the oldest public art museum located to the west of the Mississippi River.
