Samsung Eternity Review

Samsung promises to replace your music gadget and old cell phone with one single device, the Samsung Eternity. With its vibrant touch screen display, unique TouchWiz user interface and slim form factor (4.3 inches by 2.2 inches by 0.5 inch), it is bound to captivate the hearts of many. Not only that it looks sleek, its functions are not lacking either.

Current touch screen phones struggle to include a good built-in camera (indeed the iPhone only has a 2MP camera and can only record video if a special application is bought for it) but the Samsung Eternity manages this by including a satisfactory 3MP camera with digital zoom, brightness control and the ability to shoot up to an hour of video.

The QWERTY keyboard is a little different than most. The interactive touch screen offers you the QWERTY keyboard regardless of whether the phone is in landscape mode (as in being held in a horizontal position) or in portrait mode (as in being held in the vertical position.) You can also orientate the display from landscape mode to portrait mode and vice versa without interrupting your current activity. The touch screen on the Eternity also features something called Haptic Feedback, which is essentially a system designed to make typing touch screen phones more user friendly, and more like 'real' buttons. Haptic feedback on samsung Eternity means that a user will receive a slight vibration as feedback when a virtual button has been pressed.

If you have yet to experience the AT&T Mobile Music feature, this is where the 3G technology really shines. AT&T Mobile Music gives you the opportunity to download and play music just like an Mp3 player. This feature is fantastic for both teens and adults. Anyone who is really into music can buy this phone for this feature alone. AT&T Mobile Music allows the option to download ring tones on the fly for complete personalization. The microSD slot enables you to expand the storage capabilities of Samsung Eternity for your everyday entertainment demands. As such, you need not worry much about running out of memory.

While the Samsung Eternity is loaded with technologically advanced features, it is quite user friendly. Of course, while you're having fun with all the entertainment features built right into the fun, don't forget that you have access to all the necessary tools for business as well. With 3G internet connectivity, bluetooth, USB and coupled with robust functions including voicemail, multi media messaging and personal memo book, staying organized and connected is a breeze.
