Scar Removal Process for Stretch Marks

Pregnancy is a life-changing event especially for first time moms but it is also a body-changing event. A large percentage of stretch marks developed through pregnancy and contrary to popular belief the skin is not stretched but rather torn. These stretch marks leave ugly scars to your skin. We know that the joy of giving birth is nothing compared to this little shortcoming so moms don't really mind them, until after the pregnancy and they are facing a mirror naked looking at the hideous marks and they start procuring scar removal products in the market. For most people however on the onset of pregnancy they already use creams and products that promise to reduce stretch marks program during this stage of motherhood.

Why do we get stretch marks anyway?

Stretch marks occur when our skin grows rapidly and the body system could not keep up. Growth spurt like the tummy for moms is an example of these. Stretch marks are cause by a lack of collagen. Collagen is a main component of scar tissues. Scarring is a natural part of the healing process. Collagen is a naturally occurring protein produced by the body. Hence, the more collagen the body produce the faster the healing process would occur and speeds up the removal of scars caused by torn skin or stretch marks as commonly use.

Scar removal procedure for stretch marks varies depending on the severity of the case. These include but not limited to the following: laser treatments, derma brasion, prescription retinoid, some may even opt to surgical procedure such as tummy tack and many others or we can try a new product. There is a new product introduced in the market called a derma roller.

Derma Roller has an ability to naturally stimulate the production of collagen in the body which speeds up scar removal process.

Like all other methods of scar removal products and procedures in the market the concept is to assist the body with healing. The only difference is the length of time needed for the method to work and the cost of the product or procedure utilized. Creams and oil for example use its chemical components in boosting vitamins and minerals in out body to assist our bodies healing system, but this products takes longer time to materialize results although creams and oils product in the market are affordable for budgeted consumers. Surgery procedures, however, is the opposite it instead of chemicals it elevate the physical healing by forcing the skin to make collagen. Surgical procedures though flush down big dollars but the results are pretty fast. Remember that when choosing a solution to your stretch marks problems it is always best to weigh down the options and list down your pros and cons.

Our skin has its natural ability to heal itself. But nature sometimes needs help and this is why methods such as products and procedures are created to assist on nature’s scar removal system.

It is important that anyone looking for a solution, understands the pros and cons of their chosen scar removal method.
