With the increased rate of physical ailments like nervous system disorders, the time has arrived for us to handle this ourselves without external help. Yoga provides highly scientific techniques of obtaining control over the life force that gives life to each cell of the body and rectifies the fluctuations in the flow of these energies that make the internal organs operate efficiently. Trying to adjust the crucial energy flow disturbances has been attempted with drugs, by acupuncturists by stimulating certain points along the meridian of the flow and by altering the functioning of the field lines of the body in magneto therapy. Yoga corrects the alterations in the energy flow by slowing down the activity gently.

To the amateur, yoga might seem to be a list of almost impossible free hand exercises used in silence. An ideal healthy bodyweight becomes possible when you learn how to function with profound internal rest with effortless eternal activity through out the day. Yoga can be a style of living. It is not just doing some chants or challenging exercises. It requires a profound dedication and personal awareness to change your life style to one of acceptance.

Yoga improves relaxation to relieve the bronchial hyper-responsiveness. There are numerous examples of asthmatics in a class who learn to calm their bronchus in the midst of an attack of asthma without resorting to drugs. Mental benefits of yoga come from the synchronization of the body and the mind through meditation. Many people use yoga to release stress, improve relaxation, gain emotional balance, and enhance concentration. Yoga also reduces panic attacks, blood pressure, and muscle stress while improving self-esteem, joy levels, and strengthening your immune system. So, go grab your yoga mat and start on the road to a healthier you.
