The world is full of abundance. There is an ebb and flow of wealth, and an understanding of that process can assist you in finding the opportunities for abundance to flow to instead of away from you. Being overly tight and careful with your money, just causes you to become more and more focused on the lack of wealth in your life. If you focus too much on holding on to what you have you close yourself off from any opportunities to create more abundance in your life.

To change this belief you need to open up to the possibility that you can create the money that you want or need. One way to open your thinking is through the 10% rule. Many entrepreneurs suggest the 10% rule as a key component to success. You should always make it your commitment to donate at least 10% of anything you make to the charity of your choice. The act of donating to something you believe in will not only make you feel better about who you are, but it will also make you feel better about your financial situation. Charity reminds you of others who are in far worse situations than you and gives you a better perspective on your own abundance. Often something as simple as this can really allow you to tweak your thinking and feel appreciative of your situation. You stop focussing on lack and start focussing on abundance.

While it is important to feel more positive about your life, the most important thing is how you view yourself. You will see someone who is a benefactor, a leader, and a force for good. This is what an entrepreneur is. Someone that assists others and helps them to find solutions to problems and offers the chance for others to improve their lives in some way. And those that will achieve long term success are those who are contributing and creating a better world around them. Again this shift in thinking will help you to see other opportunities around you and have the courage and self belief to go after them.

Finally, everything you give to the world will return tenfold. Abundance is flowing and allowing it to flow away from you in a helpful way will allow it to return to you multiplied

Some of you are now thinking, sounds good but I don't have the money. These words are like poison. Do anything you can to remove these thoughts from your mind. You can afford it.

Everyone knows how much they need to get by, a basic level of income. You have basic needs: pay to bills, put food on your table, pay mortgage or rent. Everything beyond that is really extra. You know that your income must always meet this basic level as you need a home and food on your table. Now add 10% to your basic level of income.

The next part is obvious: you must now see this as your basic level of income. This is one of the most important changes of thinking, and is vital to your future. If your income currently does not cover this, than you need to make it your priority to raise your income to this new level at least. If you make charity and donation an absolute must in your life you will find a way, and as you open to more opportunities and possibilities for your life you will open up to success. You owe it to yourself and to the world to find your abundance.
