Shelving by Design: Storage to Match any Decor

My friend Michael stopped his annoying questions after looking into shelving by design at my suggestion.
Michael recently bought a house with his wife and two new-born babies.
As Michael and his wife had both just finished graduate school and were starting careers as professors at a University, they needed room for their myriad of books.
High shelving and conventional bookcases were out of the question for the sake of having infants in the home, so they decided to try shelving by design.

As Michael's wife is obsessed with interior decorating, the large oaken shelving cases which Michael had used previously were discarded and all the books remained in boxes.
Their love for books, and the necessity of referring to many books for their careers, demanded easy access to a large portion of their literature.
After spending their first semester teaching without an organized way of retrieving books, Michael's wife found samples of shelving by design which could be arranged around the room.
These matched her need for feng shui, modern design, and the safety of their children.

The only problems they encountered after researching new options for shelving were the exponential amount of artistic possibilities.
Michael, of course, let his wife do all the research and measured the room and shelving areas for her.
I decided my suggestion had been enough and stayed away after his wife began her journey to finding and installing the shelving by design.
She finally landed on some sleek white shelving to line the walls at different sizes so all the books could fit.

After my suggestion to Michael and his wife's approval, I didn't have to loan him the shelving in my office anymore.
Also, his wife loves being asked about her new furniture and thanks me every time I come visit. Michael's wife thanks me for the suggestion on every visit, and says her new furniture gets many compliments.
Hopefully she never notices that my shelving by design receives twice as many compliments.
