Most manufacturers of digital cameras will claim that one of their products is the smallest camera you will ever find in the world. Or some will say that in its class, it is the smallest camera. But as a consumer, how can you really tell that it really is the smallest camera? Here is a list and features of the smallest cameras sold in the market today.

The JB1 Zippo Lighter Digital Camera works as a little spy camera. You can record voices, make surveillance, it could also work as a web camera, record video clips, and pictures. Size is 57.1x38.1x12.7 mm only. The same size with the SY-2107 which can fit on a keychain. It can take pictures with a color resolution up to 640x480 and 100 seconds video clip.

The Sony Qualia 016 is the world's smallest camera top spot. It measures 69.1x16.8x24 mm. It comes in a full technology and a suit-case of accesories. The L'Espion Xtra measures 60x40x15 mm. It can hold 279 pictures with a 800x600 resolution and can record a 27 second movie clip at 30fps.

The Fuji Axia Eyeplate Mega which is only 86.1x54.8x8 mm has a 1.3 megapixel capability with a 1280x1024 resolution and a built-in SD slot. The Phillips key ring 007 also has a 1.3 megapixel but comes with a 64 MB memory and a 128 MB memory for the 008 version.

Che-ez! Snap is an easy-to-use digital camera measuring 40.5x51x22 mm. It comes with an 8 MB/SD RAM and can record a 320 x 240 video and a 640x480 pixel resolution for pictures. The Veo Mini Capture can take a 1600x1200 picture with an 8 MB memory which can be expanded up to 256 MB.

The Casio Exilim EX-S20 is the most affordable micro-digital camera. It is thin and stylish at 83x52.8x11.2 mm only. The EX-S3 version of casio measures 89.5x57x11.7mm with 3 megapixels, 4x zoom with a 2 inches screen plus a 10 MB built-in memory.

The SiPix StyleCam Blink II is a lightweight, compact, and a low-cost camera. It measures 27.9x86.4x17.8 mm only.

The Panasonic SV-AS10D D-Snap is as slim as 0.5 inch. It measures 103.7x51.6.12.7mm only. It comes in three different colors: blue, silver, and orange. The Aiptek PCM13 PenCam is a pen style camera that functions as a digital camera and a digital camcorder. It measures 30x86x27 mm only.

The Canon Powershot SD10 - IXUS is a 4 Mega Pixel camera with a 32 MB flash card. It measures 90.3x47x18.5 mm. The Pentax Optop S4 comes from the line of the Optio S models but with 4 MP feature with an 11 MB internal memory measuring 83..8xx50.8x20.6 mm.

The Kyocera FineCam SL300R comes with a rotating lens measuring at 61x99x16 mm with an RTUNE feature. It can capture at 3.5 frames/second. The Logitech Pocket Digital 130 comes with a 1.3 megapixel resolution with flash measuring 58x88x19 mm.

The Sony Cybershot DSC-U50 also has a rotating lens with a 1 inch LCD monitor. It uses NiMH AAA rechargeable batteries and with a measurement of 99.9x40.5x24.9 mm. The DSC-U30 includes 8 MB memory stick using AAA batteries and with a size of 85.7x41.3x30.2 mm.

The Minolta Dimage Xt with its one of a kind folded 3x optical zoom and 4x digital zoom system measures 95.5x67x20 mm. The Sony DSC-T1 is the world's most slim 5MP digital camera with a 2.5 inches screen and with a size of 91x60x21 mm.
The Casio Exilim EX-Z4U has a 3x optical zoom system with a 2 inches screen, 10 MB built-in memory, with a measurement of 87.1x56.9x23.6 mm.
