Sneha is one of the most successful South Indian Actresses. Originally she is from Telugu family but has acted in a variety of Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam movies. She was born on October 12, 1981 in Mumbai.

Initially her career started with supporting role in a Malayalam movie but it was the lead role opposite Madhavan in the Tamil film Ennavale [2001] that shot her to fame instantly. She followed it up with one successful movie after one such as Aanandham and Parthale Paravasam and rounded the year with two more movies in Telugu cinema.

Sneha wasn�t one to take things lightly and surely not her career. She worked in some of the most successful movies of 2002 with the number reaching to that of 8. Some of her landmark movies from that year were Hanuman Junction, Unnai Ninaithu, April Madhathil, King and Pammal K. Sambandam.

After some more movies which were not so successful and some successful like Jana, Bose, Venky and Adhu, Vasool Raja MBBS, Autograph etc. Sneha was declared the reigning queen of South India.

What more her performance in a double role in the heroine �oriented movie Parthiban Kanavu was hugely appreciated. Sneha became the box office ruler in Telugu cinema with her blockbuster K. Ragavendra Rao-directed mythological movie Sri Ramadasu (2006).

The actress gave simultaneous hits in the form of Mallu movie Thuruppugulan and Pudhupettai. Sneha doesn�t believe in doing glamorous roles as people love her in her homely image. She has even a South Indian Filmfare award in 2002.
