The Role That Toxins Play In Weight Gain

Obesity is a prime example of one of the most heavily addressed health problems in the United States. Most people don't eat anything close to a healthy diet or get anywhere near the amount of exercise they need to maintain a healthy weight.

The explosion in the rates of obesity in America has largely coincided with the massive increase in the use of chemicals in business processes (including food production). Many of these chemicals have harmful side effects including outright toxicity and some even lead to weight gain!

New potentially harmful and damaging chemicals are introduced all the time (almost each and every day); joining the already staggering number of hazardous substances that already exist in our world. There are so many different toxic substances that research has been started in order to create a baseline of toxicity in the US; it's an alarming and disturbing and a very sad state to find ourselves in, to say the least.

Many of these toxic substances have been associated with certain cancers, diminished immune function, heart problems and many other damaging effects. With extra poisons coming into the environment all the time, it's only natural to be a little worried.

Your liver can become crushed by all of these toxins; when this happens, it is unable to efficiently carry out its crucial function of burning off fat to produce energy. A beat, poison overloaded liver is an example of the most common things which can stop weight loss. A knackered liver leads to a slower metabolism, meaning it's tougher to lose pounds and energy levels may fall to the point where it's tough to exercise!

When you're knackered and your body isn't burning fat efficiently, weight loss is hard and weight gain so easy ; and when your liver does burn fat, it releases poisons stored in fat cells into the system. It can be a vicious cycle which makes it ever harder to lose excess weight.

As more poisons are freed from fat cells and taken in thru your environment, it is getting tougher to exercise and tougher to lose weight as your body struggles under the load of toxins which it has to eliminate. The final result is fatigue and as often as not, obesity. To break this cycle and start losing weight, the first step is to use natural detox methods which can cleanse your body and let you start losing weight naturally.
