Train Your Legs for Massive Muscle Growth!

The big truth out there is that a good portion of lifters in the gym don't focus on training their lower body to create massive muscle growth.

Everyone wants a thick upper body so badly that they either neglect or simply ignore the other half of their muscles down below. They'll come up with just about any excuse to avoid hard and heavy leg training, citing such responses as "I just run to develop my legs", "squats are hard on my knees", or some other bogus reason along those lines.

This is such a huge mistake...

Not only is it ridiculous to have a muscular upper body when your legs resemble toothpicks... but what if I told you that a refusal to place equal muscle building focus on the lower body is a huge limitation on your chest, back, arms, and shoulders in terms of massive muscle growth?

Too many lifters see weight training as "train muscle X using exercise Y, and muscle X will become bigger and stronger"; it's not that simple. This limited view of massive muscle growth is one of the primary reasons why most trainees fail to maximize their results in the gym.

Here's a fact…

The muscle building mechanism within the body goes far beyond a simple localized event that happens at the level of the muscle tissue itself! A major amount of massive muscle growth occurs when the entire body is placed under stress and it begins to respond to it on a holistic level.

This happens thanks to the increased secretion of important hormones such as testosterone and growth hormone. If a bodybuilder injects anabolic steroids into his body, he's attempting to up the circulation of these important substances in order to attain massive muscle growth.

Now, because you're a natural trainee and jamming a roid-filled needle into your butt just isn't your style, you've got to find other methods of speeding up the production of these muscle-increasing compounds in order to gain massive muscle growth.

So, how can you do this most effectively?

You already know it…

Taking your leg training to the next level!

Do squats, lunges, leg presses, stiff-legged deadlifts…

When you perform these exercises at a high level of intensity, notice how incredibly challenging and gut wrenching they can be.

Best for massive muscle growth!

After finishing an all out set of these lifts you may find yourself wishing you had stayed home. This is because they allow you to move massive amounts of weight and these exercises involve the largest muscle groups on your body.

But look, although these leg exercises need mental toughness and willpower, their intense difficulty forces your body to rev up its anabolic hormone production. When you build up your anabolic hormone levels, it will result in greater muscle size and strength for both your lower and upper body.

What this means is that if leg training is not a regular part of your workout schedule (or if it is part of your schedule but is simply treated as an after-thought), you are missing out on significant total body gains, like massive muscle growth, that you could otherwise be achieving.

Really, take me up on this offer…

Tack on an intense day of leg training into your weekly workout schedule at the gym. Include the most basic compound lifts such as squats, leg presses, and stiff-legged deadlifts, and focus on pushing yourself to the limit and adding more weight to the bar each week.

After 4-8 weeks, come back and tell me if you've noticed massive muscle growth. The odds are 99% in your favor that you will experience increased strength on every single upper body exercise... and get ready to witness your back, chest, arms, and shoulders get thicker, too.

If you truly don't care about massive muscle growth or the size of your legs, I can't force you to. But try to include hard and intense leg training for the sake of those upper body muscles that you care so much about.

It may not seem logical at the first glance...

But intense and consistent leg training really is one of the true "secrets" to massive muscle growth and a strong and ripped upper body!
