Acne, if not taken care properly can lead to scarring. Usually, any acne leaves a scar when it heals, but the severity of the scar varies in degrees. Peels of different concentrations are available and can be chosen depending upon the nature of the scars that need to be treated.

2)Microdermabrasion:

In this method, by spraying abrasive crystals on the surface of the skin, the scarred layers of tissue could be removed by abrasion. It requires no hospitalization and is also referred to as a lunch time peel as it has zero recovery time. Home microdermabrasion kits are also available, so that it can be used at the comfort of your own home.

3)Laser Resurfacing:

It is used to treat very deep scars. This method is known to work for some people, but the other reported more harm than good. It is expensive and requires hospitalization as the skin can be prone to infection after the removal of the upper layers. It causes burning sensation and should be used cautiously.
