Candida Albicans is a type of parasitic yeast-like fungus that inhabits the intestines, genital tract, mouth, esophagus and throat. Normally this fungus lives in healthy balance with the other bacteria and yeasts in the body.

Two kinds of Candida infections exist: systemic and digestive. All yeast infections begin with the simple digestive form, in which the parasite attaches itself in the intestinal wall. The pervasive systemic infection takes the form of a massive fungal infection.

Accompanying the abnormal discharge is irritation of the vulva that results in a burning or itching sensation in the vaginal area that is normally intensified during urination.

Intense itching around the vaginal area and sometimes up in the vagina itself is one symptom of a yeast infection. You may notice redness around the vaginal area and you may have intense burning when you urinate.

The signs and symptoms for the fungal infection will depend largely on the area of the body that is affected. The most common area of infection by the fungus Candida albicans in women is the vaginal tract.

Despite the availability of pharmaceutical solutions, such as over the counter and prescription medications for fighting a yeast infection, many women would rather utilize natural, less expensive solutions.

Some alternative practitioners believe that overgrowth of candida albicans yeast in the intestines is responsible for a yeast syndrome that results in symptoms such as fatigue, headache, mood swings, sinus congestion, depression, poor memory and concentration, and cravings for sweets.

Diabetic women are also suspected to catch yeast infection. No doubt, yeast infection cause much irritation, itching and selling, but they are harmless and there is nothing to be feared of. Many cures are available to cure this disease. Some of them are natural yeast infection cures.

If you have at least one of these symptoms, you're dealing with a fungus known as Candida Albicans. The symptoms vary from person to person and with one person the symptoms can change from day to day. The problem arises and enables the fungus to colonize and multiply.

Vaginal itching can be caused by many different reasons. The most common of them all is infection specifically infection that is caused by the fungus candida albicans. In candida infection, one of its cardinal symptoms is vaginal itching.

In replacement for these foods that will be missed oh so much, you should incorporate more garlic into your diet and probiotic yogurt as well. The reason is that both of these have great bacterial properties that work to boost beneficial bacteria and fight off bad bacteria( yeast).

Natural treatments don't have many of the the weaknesses of drug-based treatments. For example, topical creams and pessaries etc., only attack the local symptoms not the root causes. Plus the Candida can build-up a resistance to the drugs.
