Have you ever gone into a store and instead of being swarmed by helpful employees you have to search for someone to help you? When employees wear uniforms it takes the guesswork out of determining who is an employee that can provide assistance and who is a fellow customer also looking for assistance. For service related businesses, there is no question when an employee knocks on the door of a customer, wearing a uniform that they are there as a representative of your company. Uniforms for a company is a good choice.

When deciding to wear uniforms, like the ones available from All Uniform Wear, the cost and type of uniform will need to be considered.

Cost is often an issue when it comes to uniforms. Employers can handle this in different ways. Here are some examples:

• Employer pays the full cost of the uniform and the uniform stays at the location and laundered by a service.
• Employer pays the full cost of the uniform. The employee cares for his or her uniform. The employee may pay a deposit that is reimbursed in full when the uniform is returned when employment ends.
• Employees pay the full price of the uniform and cares for his or her uniform. The employer may reimburse all or part of the uniform costs after probation.

Once the budget for uniforms is decided and who will pay for the uniform, next will be searching for a uniform that matches the business. The following will need to be considered:

• Safety-choose a uniform style that will be safe in the work environment. A work environment that has machinery should not have loose fitting clothing that might catch in a machine. Employees that work with heat or flames should choose fire resistant material.
• Look-uniforms must look good on people of different sizes, ages, and genders.
• Style-the uniform should match the environment. A casual work environment should have casual clothes and the formal environment should have more formal clothes.
• Affordability-who ever is paying for the uniform should be able to afford the uniform.
• Recognizable-it should be clear that the employees work for the company when the uniform is being worn.
• Durability-the uniform should be able to be washed frequently and still look good. Uniforms should last to avoid replacement costs.

The staff at All Uniform Wear can help you choose a uniform that fits your budget and your business. All Uniform Wear is proud to provide high quality uniforms at affordable prices for all types of business.
