Do not condemn him for liking another artist, politician, whatever. Just say that you don't like them because their music makes you feel something else, or your mom listened to Elvis more, or some other whatnot. But say for example, you would want to have kids, but unfortunately, your future partner does not want any. If you thinking of a long term relationship, this will be a big problem. You may want to discuss it with him earlier so that the issue gets resolved at the very start. If you really can't compromise, then I think it would be better if you tell him that you are obviously looking for different things and that it would be better if you go your separate ways. 4. And lastly, be careful. Do not give your email address, but use the messaging option that the website provides. Chat within the website's domain and instant messenger. Do not give your real name, contact number, address and anything else personal.
