That is an EXCELLENT question, and I bet if you asked 20 people what wealth means, they would all have a different definition.
Wealth is whatever you decide it is. Wealth for you may be a huge nest egg for retirement. Wealth for someone else may be two homes and a boat. Wealth could be several vacations a year to exotic locales or historical pilgrimages. It could also mean the ability to take care of elderly family members in an affluent location where they receive the best of care in a stimulating environment. To many, it almost certainly means having a lifestyle wherein they have multiple sources of income--passive income ideally, so they have the freedom to work or not work, and still have the lifestyle that makes them happy and fulfilled.
Whatever the end result of wealth is for you, unless you have old money in the family, to get it means doing what you love, leaving others with more than you took from them, and it is a simple product of the joy you get in living each day doing what you love while serving others.
If you read Robert Allen's book about growing wealth, Multiple Streams of Income, you'll see that he recommends Multilevel Marketing as a necessary stream. And he should know--he's way, way up there in my upline. I figure if Robert Allen, one of the foremost financial experts in the world today says this is the way to go, who am I to argue? I did the same thing, because I know if you want to become wealthy, you need to emulate those who already are.
Do I ever see or talk to Bob or his wife? Not on your life! They have been in this company, growing their downline, for over 10 years and they don't even have to be active any more. They just enjoy using the Cadillac of nutritional and skin care products and cash the cheques generated by their downline every week. Yes... I said every week. We get paid weekly. Sweet!
The beauty of Multilevel Marketing lies in the ability to work hard for a few years now, so you can take it easy later, after you've invested your money in other sources of income. The old ways of working for someone else all your life, trading your time and skills for a paycheque are shifting to a much more sensible mindset where you get to be paid what you're worth. Yes, MLM is finally coming into its own, thanks to companies like ours, and we're still setting quarterly sales records after 15 years--EVERY quarter.
In MLM, you get out of it what you put into it. If you work hard, you get lots of hard cash. If you don't, and treat it like a hobby, you'll get some extra income. We have all the tools--websites, presentation tools, email accounts, all the marketing material you could possible want, and training in any media you like, for as long as you're part of the team. We never stop learning. I can't imagine a day going by where I didn't learn something. It's stimulating, it makes me feel worthwhile and helps me coach my team to be the best they can be
To be wealthy, if you've never had a lot of money, may mean a big shift in the way you think about money and wealth. People who are wealthy will always come back to the wealthy state, even if they lose everything. (Donald Trump)
Conversely, people who have always been poor will subconsciously find a way to remain poor, even if they come into a lot of money, because they don't understand what it means to be wealthy and don't feel comfortable having money(lottery winners). A lot of us need to LEARN how to attract money and wealth and prosperity by changing our internal beliefs. That's what I had to do. And I can help you work on that, too.
