But you should be careful. Much like Pokemon and Webkinz, kids may not be happy with just one set. The same as with gaming cards that are traded by kids all over the world, Bakugan toys are made for the purpose of being collected. How do you play the game?

Quite like how a trading card game is played, Bakugan is a strategy game. It involves both cards ( made of metal ) and marbles. The marbles turn into monsters and the like, i.e. things like dragons. The change occurs as the marble drops onto the metallic cards, which is the big aspect of the appeal of these toys. They are fun! The marbel breaks open when it lands on the cards. Children love it.

The cards within each pack represent various characters that appear on the tv show. To play Bakugan you lay the cards flat on a flat surface ( a table will suffice ) and after that they roll the marbles that have the characers inside across them. If the sphere lands on an acceptable card it'll stop and then it unlocks and transforms into a personality in a certain fighting position.

{However, if 2 marbles which are utilised by rival players end up landing on the same card then an imaginary battle occurs between them. It is this which then determines who has won and who has caught the card on which both players have landed. Each player has to add up the number of points on the card to the number of points that their marble has and the one with the highest score is deemed the winner.
