Why Should I Consider Using A Classic Aftershave?

After a man is finished shaving his face, he splashes on some aftershave. The purpose of doing this is of course for the great fragrance but also to keep his skin in great shape. This will help the skin be smoother and in better condition which becomes a consideration for men who shave, especially those who must save at least once a day.

If you are the kind of man who wants to use an after shaving product and then some cologne, you may run the risk of applying too much. It will also be necessary to find the perfect cologne to compliment your classic aftershave.

Using a classic product after shaving accomplishes many different purposes. Acting as an astringent, your face is protected from the alkaline soaps that you are using for shaving. Normal skin can be rather acidic which means that toners and astringents are needed to keep the skin smooth and healthy.

Another benefit of using an aftershave is that the pores of the skin are closed. When you shave, you are using warm water and this warmth will open pores making them susceptible to collecting dirt and bacteria. Aftershave also is a preventative measure for protecting the skin when small abrasions happen. These can easily get infected and cause problems.

Here is another thing to consider about using a classic aftershave. Does it give you greater 'sex appeal'? Splashing on your favorite scent will make you feel refreshed and invigorated. If you have chosen one that is the most classic which is a spicy, botanicals blend of very masculine and woodsy cedar scent, you will most certainly feel more confident and self aware.

Choosing a scent that is gentle yet very distinctive will say a lot about your personality. As you pass by people and see that they are enjoying your smell, it will build your confidence level. Now, with your own sense of self-image secure, you will probably not be surprised when your new confidence level begins to express as a new sexuality.

The opposite sex are always attracted to a man who makes them go ahhhh when they are standing near. Smells evoke a sensual response and sensuality means sexuality. So to answer the earlier question, yes. Using aftershave does make you sexier.
