There is an abundance of affordable perfumes in the market today. The question is, are they worth your money at all? Sure you don't have to invest so much on your favorite scent, but then, what is the quality of the fragrance that you can expect from a cheap perfume?

If truth be told, there are several definitions of cheap perfumes. They can refer to those designer brands of perfumes that do not come in expensive and attractive bottles. Perhaps, you can inquire with some perfume wholesalers if they can repack the perfume in bottles that do not have to cost so much.

Cheap perfumes can also reference those that are sold in smaller stores --- those that do not have a lot of overhead expenses. You see, when a store has to spend so much on rent, electricity, and manpower, it will expectedly include all these on the overall cost of the perfume, the reason why perfumes in higher-end stores are more expensive than those in ordinary stores.

Where else can you find affordable and cheap designer perfumes? Online is another great place to look for cheap perfumes. There are so many marketplaces online where you can find great deals on designer perfumes. Then again, while that may be the case, you will not be able to test the perfume on your skin to see if it matches your body chemistry. You won't be able to smell it, either. When buying perfumes, it is essential that you test it first if the scent goes well with your natural body scent. Good if you can find an online store that sends out perfume samples for free. This way, you'll be able to make an informed decision.

There are also perfumes that are mere imitations of designer perfumes, and they come in several classes. Imitation perfumes have roughly the same fragrances as the designer perfumes themselves, only that they do not last as long. If you have to go for imitation perfumes, it's highly recommended that you look for Class A imitations because these are of high quality. In fact, if you are not exactly a scent expert there's a good chance that you will not be able to tell that it's not the original, designer perfume at all!

Of course, there are also cheap perfumes that are really cheap --- literally! They are made of substandard ingredients and they do not last a long time. Sometimes, the scent can be even offensive. Clearly, these are the kinds that you would not wish to spend any money on!

When you are in a really tight budget, going for cheap perfumes may not be a bad thing at all. If you are wise enough to look for cheaper alternatives, you will really be able to find the right scent that perfectly suits your budget.

Notwithstanding all these, a perfume is, perhaps, a woman's most important accessory. Besides reflecting your personality, a perfume can also be mood-lifting. Thus, choosing the right scent is very important.
