Your Camping Checklist

Have you packed everything you need for that camping trip? It could be tough to be in the middle of the woods and not have that one important thing you forgot to bring and drive a couple more miles just to buy it in a convenience store. So to save you all the hassle, you might want to check a few things out before you hit the road.

1. Always bring your first aid kit. You'll never know when you might need it.

2. Tents, poles, ropes. You definitely need not forget these, else you might find yourself camping out in the bushes or hopefully there are cabins you can stay in.

3. Sleeping bags, mats, blankets and pillows. Even if you're staying in a cabin, you might want to bring your own set of these. You'd probably need them anyway specially if it's too cold and you're somewhere in the mountainous regions.

4. Warm and cool clothes. You might not be too sure how the weather will turn out so bring clothes to suit any climate change just to be safe. Also, bring swimwear as there might be a canoeing site or lake in the camping area.

5. Flashlights and batteries, lanterns and fuel, lighters and matches. Got to keep the light on during the night so check if you have packed them and make sure they are all working before you go.

6. Fire wood. What's camping without the bonfire?

7.Food and drinks. Be sure to bring enough to last you. Don't forget the marshmallows of course for the bonfire.

8. A huge cooler with plenty of ice to store your food and drinks.

9. Pots, pans, griddle, grill. You might not be munching only on instant foods you brought but you might also be cooking meals or feasting on a barbecue during your camping trip so check if you have these on your list.

10. Knives and scissors. Pack them safely and away from small children.

11. Dishwashing and bath soaps. For all your cleaning needs, double check if you have them packed too.

12. Garbage bags. You don't want to be leaving a mess when you leave right, so bring a couple of these as well.

Double check everything before you set out on your trip. Don't forget to be safe and of course, enjoy. Nothing beats a good camping experience especially when you are well prepared.
