There are many such utilities available, some free, some are included within of a suite of utilities. In any case, be sure you use one of these deletion utilities in order to insure you data has been completely overwritten and thus deleted."

Sadeghi continues, "Can companies rely on staff to delete sensistive information recommended by Craig Crossman? Probably not. This means that businesses will have to test every system before it leaves the premises. Depending on the number of computer systems being sent for recycling this procedure could take weeks."
