Are you getting what you want from your life or your business? Do you even know what you want? You may be asking yourself, “Do I need a coach”? Of all the things successful people do to accelerate themselves down the path of success, coaching is one of them. Why is that? A good coach is a great friend but is also an unreasonable friend. He (or she) will not cut you any slack nor tolerate any excuses. A good coach will help you define your goals, organize them into a plan of action then ride your butt to be sure you execute. He will push you to be all that you can be.
We often say that a person must be coachable. What we mean by that is, as a client, if you argue for your limitations, then a coach is powerless to help you. As a coach, I can point out to you when you are arguing for your limitations and help you see a better path for yourself, but in the final analysis, the choice is yours. You must execute.
Rumi said, “What you seek is also seeking you” but the first step in the process is to define what you seek. Define your goals and create a vision for what life looks like. I can help you do that.
A typical coaching program might look something like the following:
Initial consultation (free) to assess whether or not we can work together effectively
1st session: defining the goals and setting the initial action plan
Follow on sessions: review of progress, and course correction
The challenge for most people is that every day we make choices to do or not do certain activities. A coach can help you review your choices and insure they are helping you reach the pinnacle of success you desire and therefore help you reach a more balanced fulfilling life.
Did you know that (according to Jack Canfield in The Success Principles) 20% of America’s millionaires never set foot in college, and 21 of the 222 Americans listed as billionaires in 2003 never got their college diplomas; 2 never even finished high school!”
So success in business and in life is not predicated on formal education. It does require tenacity, perseverance, and commitment and for almost everyone, a coach.
According to Ray Higdon, “The best reason to hire a coach is to get results faster that you know you could get. Not once have I (Ray) hired a coach to help me with my motivation, we hire coaches to more quickly learn what we want to with the ability to ask clarifying questions not always answered in information products.”
So there you have it. If you are asking yourself, “Do I need a coach”? The answer is , “Yes!” If you are willing to commit, there is a mighty fine chance I can help you achieve your goals. I can help you connect your head and your heart in such a way as to turn your passion into your results and your actions into your successes. Are you ready to rumble? If so, let’s jump on that first free coaching session and see if there is a fit. The only thing you have to lose is a little bit of your time. The only thing you have to gain is triumph for the rest of your life. How cool is that?
