James Walsh's Articles in Legal

  • Drawing up a Will Online
A will is a legally-enforceable, written document that directs the manner in which the will-writer’s wealth and property will be distributed after death. It names specific persons (relatives, friends, etc.) or entities (beneficiaries, trusts, etc.) which are to be assigned all or a proportion of the property. It is the only practical way to ensure that your property is distributed according to your wishes after your death and not according to the law of the land.
  • Online Co-Habitation Agreement Services
After a bitter divorce, Mark was wary about re-marrying. So, when he fell in love with Susan, the mutual decision was to live together, without getting married. After some years however, he died of cardiac arrest, without a will or co-habitation agreement. Susan was dejected to find that by law, she could not inherit any of his property. With a co-habitation agreement in place, things could have worked out better for Susan.
  • Wills
Death is certain to all, but no one can predict when it would come. When, where and how the death would be, is a million-dollar question. One can get to experience it only when he passes through the final stage of the life cycle. So, the sensible people would always take precautions to protect their family and loved ones, well before their demise. They would make arrangements in such a way that all their property and other belongings would reach them without any hurdles. That arrangement would obviously be through Will writing.
