Ahmir Brings R&B The Gift Ahmir is a hot new act on the R&B scene with a new album, The Gift, released on April 10, 2007. The group has already started establishing a presence in the industry, with its first single "Welcome To My Party," being placed at #19 on Billboard's Year End R&B Singles Sales Chart. The track was also declared eligible for a Soul Train Music Award. R&B Haven recently had the chance to interview the group on its musical background and plans for the album. Remembering Legends: Late Great 90s R&B Artists 90s R&B music brought out many incredibly talented musicians, some which lost steam after one album, while others continued on to grace listeners with album after album. Unfortunately, many careers ended short, not because of conflicts or financial difficulties, but because death took these talented men and women before their time.
