  • Smoking ban in the UK starts July 2007
    By July 2007, England would start banning smoking in all enclosed public places under its “Smoke-free England” campaign. The Health Department will be enforcing this ban to minimize the harmful effects of second-hand smoke that includes heart disease, lung cancer and even sudden infant death syndrome or SIDS. Enclosed public places would include bars, restaurants and even smoking-designated rooms in offices.
  • Smoking shelters for the smoking ban
    “Smoking is a habit that would not go away or die that easily in any smoker”. Cigarette smoking is becoming a major concern these days with lots of people around the world already addicted to smoking, a habit which smokers find it very difficult to live without. Due to increasing danger to public health, lots of countries have taken a step forward and have introduced BAN on SMOKING in majority of public areas like the bars, restaurants, pubs, disco etc.
