Bollywood is a Force to be Reckoned With When you hear the term bollywood what do you think of? The not so illustrious past of this particular film industry has been looked upon in many different ways depending on who you asked. For many Americans it was filled with too much of the Hindu culture to be enjoyable while for other countries it was something that was “different”, but not something that anyone thought would grow as big as it has today. What was for years looked upon and talked about with a condescending attitude has been transformed into something to be feared in the world wide film industry. Bollywood is the Place Where Dreams Are Made For many years it was the number one dream of children to grow up and be a famous actor one day. Before this era in time you saw those that wanted to be astronauts or even those that had political aspirations, but never before has a childhood dream been as big as that of being an actor. And while the biggest of these fantasies was to be a Hollywood actor you will now see that there are many out here that put their aspirations at being a famous bollywood film star. Although it is the exception rather than the rule for someone not to have heard of this multi-million dollar film industry, there are still those that know nothing about it. However, you will find that these people are the type that do not know much about the world outside their lives in general as they are like the ostridge with its head in the sand. Either way, this Mumbai based film industry has begun to change and shape the way films are made and how they are looked like all over the world, and millions of children, not just in India, aspire to one day be seen in famous bollywood videos. But how does one live that dream?
