  • Why We Are NOT Nice To Others As We Ought To Be
    It is difficult to be nice to others because we are less than perfect but we expect others to be perfect. Another reason is our pride: it is difficult to admit that our beliefs and convictions may be wrong. Also, our "mine-is-better" attitude makes us judgmental. Furthermore, our culture promotes expressing our emotions freely - hence we do not discipline our negative emotions. Finally, due to face saving, we make excuses for how we misbehave.
