Baths - Enjoying Stylish Bathroom Accessories

Whether you are renovating your bathroom or installing a completely new bathroom, the quality of products you install are what will give you your dream bathroom. The taps you use with your bath will determine the flow of water into your bathtub. It is therefore important to choose the safest and most efficient taps that will give you the easiest time once you decide to take that relaxing shower or bath. One of the options that you can consider using for your bathroom is the mixer taps.

Mixer tap designs

The best part of shopping for taps is that there are a wide variety of styles from which you can choose from. Modern taps normally have lever handles and all you need to do is lift or lower the tap to allow flow of water into your bath. Rotational handles are also available in different styles and are convenient as they are easy to grip and give a classy look to your bathroom.

Bath mixer taps

Mixer taps normally get water from the two pipes which bring in cold and hot water, and then mix the cold and hot water before the water flows out from one spout into your bath. Mixer taps basically enable you to reach the temperature that you want much faster by enabling you to balance the hot and cold water much more easily.

The mixer tap is very safe to use as you do not have to draw water that is ice cold or scalding hot. There are mixer taps used for the bath that also have a shower mixer. This will allow you to control the temperature of the water that comes out of your shower.

If you are a person that uses your bath a lot, then having mixer taps is a great idea as it will enable you to control the temperature of the water before your bath is filled up. Mixer taps are also an excellent choice if you have children, since you will avoid accidents that can occur from having very hot water flowing from the hot water tap.

Deck mounted mixer taps

These are mixer taps which are affixed to your bath through holes which have been drilled. These taps can be monoblocs which means that the two taps pass through one hole, or they can be installed as pillar taps which come through two holes. These taps are quite easy to install than other types of taps and are therefore very common.

Wall mounted mixer taps

There are modern types of taps that are fixed on the wall and then hang over your bath. These mixer taps are very stylish and great if you are looking to give your bathroom a modern edge. The wall mounted mixer taps are more difficult to install since all the pipes and plumping work is done within the wall. The visual results, however, outweigh the difficulty of installation.

Freestanding bath taps

If you are considering installing a freestanding bath, then you will need to use freestanding mixer taps or standpipes for the bath. There are also freestanding mixer taps that have a shower mixer, which means you can also enjoy a relaxing shower in your freestanding bath using the mixer tap option.
